
One week before the launch of Siri, apple’s voice assistant. Apple is reportedly sending a large group of Siri engineers to an intensive multi-week AI coding bootcamp. This move shows the company’s urgency to excel in the field of artificial intelligence.
According to reports, fewer than 200 engineers from Siri divison will participate in the training program which is designed to enhance their expertise in modern AI-assisted coding tools such as OpenAI’s Codex and Anthropic’s Claude. These tools are increasing in the business industry and helping to grow it.
The decision comes at a critical time for apple, as it prepares to unveil a significantly upgraded version of Siri at its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2026. This launch of AI would help to gain access to next generation models, marking one of the biggest updates to Siri in years.
